What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage real estate finance transactions from inception through to completion
- Act for lenders on a range of complex property finance matters
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, intercreditor arrangements and security documentation
- Supervise and support junior team members, including associates, NQs and paralegals
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and new client generation
- Support wider strategic initiatives within the team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced real estate finance lawyer (likely Senior Associate level or equivalent)
- Strong background in property finance transactions, ideally acting for lenders
- Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing ability
- Confident in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable taking a leading role within a team
Why This Role?
- Leading Role: Opportunity to take real ownership within a growing REF team
- High-Quality Work: Exposure to complex and varied real estate finance transactions
- Strong Platform: Join a respected UK commercial firm with an excellent reputation
