We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join a highly regarded and market‑leading Finance team in Manchester.
About the Role
The team sits within a well‑established national practice advising a broad range of clients across the banking and finance sector, including clearing banks, private credit funds, alternative lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers. The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing and highly ranked Manchester team, gaining exposure to a broad mix of complex and high‑value transactions across corporate lending, leveraged finance and real estate finance work. The practice is known for its strong technical capability, collaborative culture and high‑quality client base.
What You’ll Do
- Advise on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, leveraged finance and real estate finance transactions
- Work on regional, national and international deals across a diverse client base
- Draft and negotiate key finance documentation, including facility agreements and related security and ancillary documents
- Lead and support complex transactions from inception through to completion
- Manage transactions and coordinate with clients, counterparties and advisers
- Supervise and support junior lawyers within the team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives across the team and wider practice
