Joining a specialist Land Acquisition team, you will advise on a broad range of sophisticated residential development matters, acting for some of the biggest names in UK housebuilding as well as niche and regional developers.
Your work will include
- Advising on complex and large-scale land acquisitions across England and Wales.
- Negotiating and drafting collaboration agreements between developers.
- Handling disposals of service parcels.
- Advising on funding arrangements for residential developments.
- Managing strategic land options and option agreements.
- Supporting major urban regeneration projects.
- Working closely with planning, construction and litigation specialists to deliver a seamless service to clients.
This is a role where you can focus on high-quality land acquisition work, supported by an established specialist plot sales team and a full-service property offering.
You'll become part of one of the largest Residential Development practices in the UK, comprising more than 200 specialists dedicated exclusively to the residential development sector.
The team advises the vast majority of the UK's leading housebuilders alongside promoters, institutional landowners and regional developers on projects ranging from strategic land acquisitions to developments delivering thousands of new homes.
The collaborative structure means you'll work alongside recognised experts across Real Estate, Planning, Construction and Litigation, gaining exposure to some of the most significant residential development projects in the market.
Applications are welcomed from Associate or Senior Associate level Solicitors with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
You will ideally have experience in
- Residential development or commercial development.
- Land acquisition and development transactions.
- Development agreements, conditional contracts and option agreements.
- Joint ventures and collaboration agreements.
- Strategic land matters.
Previous experience acting for housebuilder clients would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
Commercial Real Estate Solicitors looking to specialise in residential development are strongly encouraged to apply.
