A top ranked international law firm is seeking a talented Non-Contentious Construction lawyer to join its London construction team. The firm is recognised for advising on complex, high-value projects across the real estate, infrastructure, energy and transport sectors.

The team advises developers, contractors, funders, consultants and public sector bodies on a broad range of construction and development matters. Working closely with colleagues across real estate, finance and corporate teams, the group delivers commercially focused advice on complex transactions throughout the project lifecycle.

You will join a busy, varied practice and can expect to be involved in:

  • Advising on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters across the property, infrastructure, energy and transport sectors
  • Drafting, negotiating and reviewing construction documentation, including JCT and NEC contracts
  • Advising on project structuring, procurement and risk allocation
  • Supporting on the construction aspects of major development and financing transactions
  • Working closely with clients and colleagues across multiple practice areas
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationship management

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law
  • Familiar with JCT, NEC and other standard form construction contracts
  • Commercially minded with strong technical and drafting skills
  • Collaborative, organised and keen to develop their practice further
