An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded claimant Clinical Negligence team at a leading London law firm. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning team recognised for its expertise in complex medical negligence litigation. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of clinical negligence matters whilst also assisting senior lawyers on complex and high-value cases.
Responsibilities- Assessing the merits of new enquiries and advising on case prospects
- Taking initial client instructions and reviewing supporting documentation
- Conducting preliminary research and case analysis
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and colleagues
- Preparing written advice, including settlement advice
- Drafting witness statements and instructions to counsel and medical experts
- Assisting on complex and high-value litigation
- Newly Qualified Solicitor to 3 years' PQE
- Experience in claimant clinical negligence work gained during training or post qualification
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Empathy, resilience and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients
