Overview: Insurance Litigation Associate - 4PQE+ (London or Bristol). I am currently working with a leading international firm that is looking to grow its insurance practice with the addition of an experienced Associate in either its London or Bristol office.
Responsibilities: The Opportunity: This is a fantastic chance to join a highly regarded Insurance & Reinsurance team that continues to expand. The group advises on a broad range of complex and market-leading matters, including:
- Professional indemnity disputes (with a focus on finance professionals, solicitors, insurance brokers, and construction specialists)
- Financial lines, W&I and cyber-related risks
- Aviation matters
- High-value and complex policy coverage work
You will work closely with an enviable client roster, including major insurers and brokers, and be part of a friendly, commercially minded team known for high-quality work and strong client relationships. There is real scope to build your own network and progress.
Candidate Profile:
- 4PQE+ gained at a City, insurance-focused, top regional, or international firm
- Strong experience advising major insurers or brokers
- Excellent drafting skills and an ability to provide pragmatic, commercial advice
- Sound judgement, strong client-facing skills, and good project management abilities
- Experience in professional indemnity, financial lines, cyber, transactional liability, aviation, or other specialist coverage work
