A leading international law firm is looking to add a Newly Qualified Associate to its highly regarded Employment team in Leeds.

The Role:

  • Newly Qualified Associate in the Employment team

You can expect to:

  • Work closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Advise clients on employment litigation, disputes and high-profile claims
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day HR advisory support to a diverse client base
  • Support on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional employment issues
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of sectors including technology, retail, financial services, education and industrials
  • Contribute to client development initiatives and build strong client relationships
  • Work as part of a large, nationally and internationally integrated Employment team

The Candidate:

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with at least one seat in Employment law
  • Strong technical grounding in employment matters (contentious or advisory)
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Interest in legal tech, AI and innovative approaches to delivering legal services
  • Strong academic background
