The Role:
- Professional Support Lawyer - Commercial Contracts & Data Protection
- Ideally 5 PQE
- Highly competitive salary
- Supporting commercial contract and data protection practices
- Key role at the forefront of legal knowledge creation and delivery
- Advising on legal developments, key cases and consultations
- Developing and maintaining know-how, precedents and practice notes
- Carrying out research on complex points of law
- Supporting innovation, process improvement and use of AI tools
- Advising on legal and compliance matters alongside risk teams
- Designing and delivering internal legal training
- Producing client-facing articles, briefings and newsletters
- Delivering client training and speaking at external events
- Supporting bids, tenders and client audits
- Working closely with fee earners, PSLs, L&D, IT and marketing teams
The Candidate:
- Ideally 5 PQE
- Background in commercial contracts and data protection
- Some exposure to public procurement helpful but not essential
- Previous PSL experience desirable but not required
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive and detail-focused
- Commercially aware and solutions-driven
