A leading international services organisation operating within an exciting sector is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its collaborative in-house legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified solicitor or junior commercial lawyer looking to develop their career within a highly respected global business with bluechip name customers.
Working as part of a well-established remote legal function, you will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters while partnering closely with stakeholders across multiple business divisions.
The OpportunityYou will provide practical and commercially focused legal support across a wide variety of business activities, helping to manage contractual risk while enabling commercial growth within an innovative and fast-moving international environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Advising internal stakeholders on day-to-day legal and compliance matters
- Supporting on commercial bids and tenders
- Assisting with legal issues relating to data privacy, intellectual property, corporate governance and employment law matters
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of legal templates, policies, and internal procedures
- Providing commercially pragmatic guidance across international operations
- Conducting legal research and supporting wider legal projects where required
- Building strong working relationships across operational and leadership teams
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 0–2 years’ PQE
- Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset
- Confident managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Previous in-house exposure is beneficial but not essential
- Fully remote working arrangement
- Salary up to £50,000
- Discretionary company bonus up to 10% of base salary
