In-house Legal Counsel

I\’m working with a leading property business based in Yorkshire to find a Legal Counsel to join their existing team of 4. Reporting into the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be joining a supportive and collaborative Legal and Compliance team.

The role will involve:

1. Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements;
2. Providing advice on both contentious and non-contentious matters which may include: adjudications, contractual disputes, consumer law issues (including regulatory matters);
3. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in company secretarial support and/or corporate matters.

You:

1. Commercial lawyer with at least 2 years PQE;
2. In-house experience would be useful but will equally consider experience working within a top tier law firm.

This role is a great first-time in-house move where the Legal Counsel will be supported and guided by more experienced lawyers, the role can also support a more senior lawyer looking for more autonomy.
