In-house Legal Advisor – 12 month fixed term contract

Well known retailer requires a junior lawyer for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave within the legal team.
Reporting to the Group Head of Operations, this role will provide comprehensive legal support and advice, dealing with legal tasks and administrative queries predominately in the Commercial, Property & compliance areas.
The Role:
– Drafting and negotiating agreements/contracts/leases, relating to property, commercial, logistics, technical, PR & social media, influencers and trademark queries;
– Working across multi legal jurisdictions;
– Provide advice to the main board & Group Head of Operations in relation to decisions when requested;
– Opportunity to work with external contacts within these fields, building on knowledge and key relationships; and
– Responsible for overseeing the work of the legal team including the line management of a Legal Administrator.
You:
– At least 1 years experience in commercial contracts or property law;
– Organised and able to communicate with all levels within the business; and
– Available on short notice and for a fixed term of 12 months.
