Role: Working as an In-house Commercial Solicitor in our client's well-established and award-winning legal team, you will have genuine opportunities to influence and interact with customers and business stakeholders across the company. You will take part in customer calls with the sales and commercial teams, review and negotiate customer contracts, provide ad hoc legal advice on wider commercial matters, help deliver contract training to stakeholders, and support with the development and implementation of new processes, procedures and precedents. The role and team allow for career development and further progression, and success and personal development is celebrated, rewarded and encouraged.
About you: We are looking for a circa 1-3 years' PQE commercial solicitor who can provide pragmatic, commercial and jargon-free legal advice to colleagues at all levels of the business. You will need to have a strong foundation in commercial law and practical experience of providing advice on, and the negotiation of, customer and supplier contracts (including data processing provisions). In-house experience (through permanent employment or a secondment) is beneficial however not a prerequisite.
Working arrangements: The company offers hybrid and flexible working, and typically the legal team are in the office 2-3 days per week. In addition, there is flex around start/finish times. The company culture promotes individuality and actively encourages different perspectives and approaches. You will enjoy a high level of freedom and autonomy, yet still have the support of a collegiate team and business.
