Role Overview:
As a Housing Disrepair Solicitor/Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims, advising clients, and ensuring the smooth progress of cases. Your duties will include:
Managing housing disrepair claims, including drafting responses to claim letters, organising disclosure, and providing legal advice on liability.
Handling anti-social behaviour cases and breach of tenancy injunctions.
Applying for access injunctions where necessary to resolve disputes.
Providing general housing management advice on tenancy issues and landlord-tenant disputes.
Assisting in the day-to-day work of the partners and the wider team, supporting with case progression and client care.
Performing general administrative duties related to casework.
Key Requirements:
Prior experience in housing disrepair work is preferred but not essential. Candidates with experience in litigation are also encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and provide exceptional client care.
Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining a calm and professional approach, ensuring effective time management and service delivery.
Strong understanding of client demands, with the ability to meet both internal and external expectations.
