BCL Legal are working with a prestigious, nationally recognised Legal 500 firm that is seeking a driven and ambitious Corporate Associate to join their highly regarded team in Northamptonshire.

The firm boasts a top-tier Corporate team that consistently ranks in the top three regions nationally for M&A activity. Specialising in key sectors, including Health & Social Care and Dental, this is an opportunity to work on a wide range of high-quality corporate matters. The team has a varied client base, from healthcare providers, angel investors, and management teams to international businesses, private equity-backed companies, and pension funds, offering exposure to a diverse set of challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice across a diverse range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and private equity transactions.
  2. Collaborate closely with colleagues across the team to share knowledge and develop innovative solutions for clients.
  3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, playing an integral role in client-facing activities.
  4. Actively contribute to business development initiatives and work closely with colleagues across the firm to generate new opportunities and referrals.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. 2-5 years PQE with a strong foundation in corporate law.
  2. Excellent technical ability with the confidence to advise on complex corporate matters.
  3. A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Strong commercial acumen, with a proactive and organised approach to work.
