Corporate Professional Support Lawyer |4+ PQE | Nottingham (National Law Firm)
A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Professional Support Lawyer to join its high-performing corporate team in Nottingham.
The Role
As a Corporate PSL, you\’ll be a central part of a large and busy corporate practice that handles a wide range of transactional work including M&A, private equity, joint ventures and reorganisations. Working alongside partners and fee-earners across the firm\’s offices, you\’ll support the delivery of legal excellence through training, knowledge management, precedents and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
· Developing, maintaining and enhancing the team\’s knowledge resources (precedents, templates, updates)
· Delivering and coordinating internal training and technical updates to ensure the team is at the forefront of legal developments
· Supporting junior lawyer development through mentoring and knowledge sharing
· Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting corporate law and translating them into practical guidance
· Supporting business development initiatives including thought leadership and client training
About You:
· Qualified solicitor with 4+ years\’ PQE in corporate law gained from a recognised national, regional or City firm
· Strong technical ability and up-to-date knowledge of corporate transactional work
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust and influence
· A proactive, collaborative approach to knowledge sharing
· Prior experience in a PSL or knowledge role is welcome but not essential
