The London corporate team handles high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across the renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, life sciences, healthcare, technology, media, telecoms, financial services, retail, and sports sectors.
My client is currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer, with strong experience and interest in M&A work (private), as well as equity financings. The salary bracket for the roles starts at £97k from 1 PQE, up to £105k at 3 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1400.
The successful corporate associate joining this team will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents to affect public and private M&A transactions (predominantly private)
- Working on venture capital, private equity and equity capital markets transactions
This position is ideally suited to a junior or mid-level corporate associate between one and three years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- A strong academic background
- Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in business development and client relationship management
