The firm\’s Leeds office is expanding rapidly, and they are looking for a driven, experienced Legal Director to join their team and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the firm\’s non‐contentious construction offering.

The RoleAs a Legal Director, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of high-value, complex non-contentious construction matters, including:

Advising on construction contracts, joint ventures, and development agreements

Providing strategic advice to developers, contractors, and other stakeholders

Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional team appointments, and collateral warranties

Supporting clients on procurement strategies, risk management, and project delivery

Building strong relationships with clients, contributing to business development and managing client expectations

This role will offer you a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects, while also providing the chance to develop and mentor junior team members.

What We\’re Looking ForWe\’re looking for an experienced lawyer with the following:

At least 8 years\’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law

A proven track record of working on major construction projects and advising high-profile clients

Strong technical knowledge of construction contracts and procurement

Excellent communication and client management skills

The ability to contribute to business development and enhance the firm\’s profile in the sector

Strong leadership skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring junior team members
