A growing and highly regarded legal practice is expanding its Dispute Resolution team in Manchester and is keen to hear from talented Senior Associates and Associate Partners with extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

This is an excellent opportunity for senior lawyers from Senior Associate through to Associate Partner level - to join a forward-thinking team handling high-quality, complex commercial disputes for an impressive and diverse client base.

The team advises FTSE 100 and Euro 250 businesses, as well as owner-managed companies, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice across a broad range of sectors. With continued growth across the practice, there is scope for successful candidates to develop their technical expertise, strengthen client relationships and play an active role in the ongoing expansion of the team.

The Opportunity

As a member of the Dispute Resolution team, you will work on a varied caseload of commercial and corporate disputes, advising clients on matters where a strategic, commercially minded approach is essential.

• Advising clients on a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Managing your own caseload to include larger and more complex disputes.
• Developing and delivering clear, strategic and commercially focused legal advice.
• Drafting and reviewing a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution documentation.
• Working closely with clients, counsel, experts and other professional stakeholders.
• Supporting disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.
• Developing strong, trusted relationships with clients and delivering consistently high levels of client service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Corporate and Commercial Services teams.
• Contributing to business development, networking and the continued growth of the Dispute Resolution practice.

About You

The team is interested in hearing from senior commercial litigation lawyers at Senior Associate / Associate Partner level, with extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

You are likely to have strong technical knowledge and experience within dispute resolution/commercial litigation, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of the commercial context in which clients operate, a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to legal advice, excellent communication and client relationship skills and a genuine interest in developing your career and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
