A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior or Managing Associate to join their market-leading Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham. This permanent, full-time role is offered on a hybrid-working basis and provides exposure to high-profile clients and complex commercial disputes.
The Role:
- Advise clients on a wide range of commercial dispute resolution matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Provide specialist pensions litigation support, developing expertise in this area.
- Collaborate closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm nationwide.
- Take an active role in business development, including preparing pitches, tenders, and client presentations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Manage a portfolio of disputes, ensuring varied and challenging work.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution.
- Specialist knowledge or experience in pensions litigation, including professional negligence, rectification, and complex member complaints (preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development and staying up to date with sector developments.
- Client-focused approach, able to nurture long-standing relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrable experience supervising or managing junior team members is desirable.
- Ambitious and motivated to develop the firm's offering locally and nationally.
