Clinical Negligence Partner
A leading claimant litigation practice is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Partner to join its growing Leeds team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established clinical negligence lawyer to play a key role in the continued growth and development of a highly regarded practice. The team has an outstanding reputation in the market, acting on complex, high-value and life-changing injury claims, and is recognised for delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and their families.
The Role
As a Partner, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex clinical negligence matters while contributing strategically to the growth of the team and wider business.
The role will involve:
- Handling complex and high-value clinical negligence claims
- Advising clients and their families through sensitive and often challenging circumstances
- Leading litigation strategy and overseeing cases from inception through to resolution
- Instructing and managing relationships with experts and counsel
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
- Developing and maintaining key referrer and client relationships
- Contributing to business development initiatives and raising the profile of the practice
- Playing an active role in the team's growth strategy and future direction
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters
- A strong track record managing complex and high-value claims
- Excellent technical and litigation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in helping grow a practice
- Experience supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
- Established relationships within the clinical negligence market and a proactive approach to business development
- The credibility and leadership skills required to operate at Partner level
