BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a leading national law firm in its recruitment for a Projects Solicitor at Senior or Principal Associate level to join its highly regarded Commercial team in Birmingham. This opportunity is offered on a permanent basis with flexible hybrid working, a competitive salary, bonus and excellent benefits package.
The Role
As a Senior or Principal Associate in this highly regarded Projects team, you will:
- Join a nationally recognised Commercial team advising on high-profile and complex projects across the public and private sectors, with particular strength in healthcare, local government, social housing and emergency services.
- Advise clients throughout the full lifecycle of major projects, from structuring and procurement through to operational matters, contract expiry and termination.
- Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial project documentation, delivering practical, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base.
- Work on nationally significant infrastructure and PFI projects, including major healthcare schemes and complex contract termination matters.
- Manage your own caseload while working closely with partners and colleagues on business development initiatives and strategic client relationships.
About You
To be successful in your application for this Projects role, you will have:
- Experience advising on commercial projects and drafting, negotiating and reviewing project documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused advice to clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships, winning new business and contributing to the continued growth of a successful team.
