A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Professional Support Unit to lead its Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) knowledge function. As Head of the Professional Support Unit you will lead a high-performing team of PSLs supporting the EPI National Service Line. This strategic, leadership-level position offers real scope to influence firmwide strategy, champion innovation and enhance how legal knowledge is developed and delivered.
- Lead and inspire a talented PSL team, fostering collaboration, creativity and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in the creation of legal content, including blogs, newsletters, press releases and digital campaigns.
- Deliver engaging training to lawyers and clients, keeping them ahead of legislative and market developments.
- Champion technology and automation, managing the firm’s suite of automated precedent documents and exploring emerging tools to boost efficiency.

You will be a qualified solicitor with:
- Significant experience in employment law, ideally with additional knowledge of immigration or pensions law.
- Either proven experience as a senior PSL or equivalent senior fee‑earning experience with a strong interest in knowledge and innovation.
- A passion for technology, automation and process improvement within legal practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging, client‑focused content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness, capable of influencing and inspiring others.
