We are working with a leading Birmingham-based international law firm to grow their highly regarded construction team. They are seeking ambitious lawyers from the NQ level (including 2026 qualifiers) up to 3 PQE, with opportunities to work on a broad range of non-contentious construction projects. Some exposure to construction disputes can also be provided if preferred.

The Birmingham construction team provides top-quality advice to an enviable client base, including regional and national developers, contractors, public sector bodies, and registered providers. The team handles a full range of construction matters, from domestic housing and regeneration projects to large-scale infrastructure and decarbonisation initiatives. You will gain exposure to procurement, risk management, development agreements, and some construction disputes, while working alongside experienced partners and cross‑office colleagues to deliver high-impact solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified solicitor, NQ-3 PQE (September 2026 qualifiers welcome).
  • At least a training seat in construction and a keen desire to develop technical construction law skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proven ability to take responsibility and manage files independently where appropriate.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong academic background.
