A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry-leading corporate team at this top-tier national practice in London. The firm ranks as one of the top 10 in the UK and is arguably the largest and widest-reaching domestic UK law firm. The London corporate team handles high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across various sectors including renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, life sciences, healthcare, technology, media, telecoms, financial services, retail, and sports.

My client is currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer with strong experience and interest in M&A work. The salary bracket for the role starts at £105k for 1 PQE, up to £115k at 3 PQE, in addition to a relatively industry-standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1500.

Responsibilities

  • The successful corporate associate will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents to affect public and private M&A transactions (predominantly private), and also working on venture capital, private equity and equity capital markets transactions.

Qualifications

  • A strong academic background
  • Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management

Hybrid Working

My client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to work from any of their regional offices.
