This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to work closely with senior stakeholders, manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal support across a diverse and fast-moving business.
As Assistant General Counsel, you will play a key role in advising the business on a wide range of commercial matters, helping teams achieve their objectives while managing legal risk and delivering practical solutions.
You will: Provide commercially focused legal advice to senior business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, including strategic partnerships, technology-related agreements, tenders and supplier arrangements.
Support business growth initiatives and new opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across legal, commercial and operational teams.
Manage relationships with external legal advisers.
Contribute to wider legal team projects and initiatives.
Support and develop junior members of the legal team.
About You 8+ years' post-qualified experience, some of which you will have gained in an international organisation.
Strong experience negotiating complex, multi-party commercial agreements and advising on strategic business matters including technology, data protection and IP.
Confident dealing with joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing relationships across a business.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
A collaborative and proactive approach.
