Corporate / Commercial Counsel - Dallas, TX
I'm currently representing a leading global professional services and financial services business with a significant presence across the US, which is looking to strengthen its in-house legal capability in Dallas.
The opportunity would suit a Corporate / Commercial Counsel with experience advising a sophisticated business on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters.
The role is likely to have exposure to:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Advising internal stakeholders across the business on day-to-day legal and commercial matters
- Corporate governance and general corporate matters
- Supporting strategic transactions, partnerships and business initiatives
- Managing legal and regulatory risk and providing practical, commercially focused advice
- Working closely with senior business stakeholders and external counsel where required
The ideal profile would be a Texas-admitted attorney with strong corporate and/or commercial experience gained in-house or within a leading law firm. The business would be open to considering different levels of experience depending on the individual's background.
This would be a good opportunity for someone looking to move into a broad, commercially focused in-house role with exposure to a sophisticated international business and senior stakeholders.
