The Role
- You'll become the legal lead for data protection and privacy, advising stakeholders across multiple business functions while supporting a broad range of commercial legal matters.
- Your work will include:
- Advising on UK GDPR, PECR and wider privacy legislation.
- Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, data sharing arrangements and privacy clauses.
- Supporting DPIAs, data mapping and privacy governance initiatives.
- Advising on commercial contracts and wider legal issues affecting the business.
- Working closely with operational and product teams to embed privacy by design.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments across the UK and Europe.
- Delivering practical guidance and training to colleagues across the organisation.
About You
- You'll be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with experience gained either in private practice or in‑house, ideally including:
- Strong expertise in data protection and privacy law.
- Experience advising on commercial contracts.
- A pragmatic, commercially focused approach to legal advice.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating across the business.
