Are you an experienced construction lawyer ready to take ownership of high-value, high-impact construction contracts for a major PLC? We are working with a leading FTSE-listed business seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer for their established in-house legal team. This key hire offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the business's ambitious build programme across the UK.
The Role
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction contracts (bespoke amendments, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, etc.).
- Partner with commercial and technical teams to support end-to-end delivery of builds.
- Take the lead in improving contract management processes and driving efficiencies across the legal and operational functions.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and external panel law firms.
- Deliver internal training on construction-related legal matters, keeping the business informed and compliant.
You will be
- A qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with solid post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
- Background from private practice, in-house, or a mix of both.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with commercial stakeholders.
