Head of Legal Liverpool | 5 days per week office-based Take the next step in your legal career. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 4-6 PQE solicitor looking to take the next step in their career and move into a Head of Legal position. This is a broad, commercially focused in-house role offering the opportunity to become a trusted legal adviser to the business while leading and developing a small, close-knit legal team. You'll have genuine ownership and visibility, working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting a range of business activities, projects and strategic priorities. The role As Head of Legal, you will provide a first-class legal service across the business, managing a varied workload and ensuring that legal considerations are embedded effectively across the organisation. Lead and manage the day-to-day legal function and oversee legal work across the business. Provide practical, commercially minded legal advice to stakeholders at all levels, including Directors. Manage and develop a small team, setting objectives and supporting their professional development. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, undertaking horizon scanning and advising the business on their implications. Support the business in maintaining appropriate legal and governance standards. Develop strong relationships across the organisation and act as a confident legal voice within the wider business. Prepare legal management information where required for effective management and Board reporting. About you We're looking for a qualified solicitor with around 4-6+ years' PQE who is ready to step beyond a purely advisory role and take ownership of a legal function. You don't need previous Head of Legal experience - this could be an ideal opportunity for a strong mid-level lawyer who is ready to make that step up and you'll be supported by the Directors in the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
