We are delighted to be working with a household name UK house builder, who are seeking an experienced + 5 PQE commercial property lawyer with significant experience dealing with house builders, to take a lead role in 'The Midlands' regional division of the Group.
Responsibilities
- Reporting into the most senior Commercial property lawyer in the UK legal team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality transactional work in relation to site acquisition, site assembly i.e. infrastructure agreements, management company agreements, and all of the core commercial property legal transactional work that leads to being able to dispose of the plots.
- You will also be responsible for the management & overseeing of a well-established team of Midlands based commercial property lawyers and conveyancers, managing external solicitors, and being the key point of contact for internal clients in The Midlands regional office, so management experience is a pre‑requisite.
Qualifications
This opportunity is ideal for a significantly experienced Commercial Property Lawyer or Legal Executive with significant experience dealing with house builders, who is seeking an opportunity to take on more exposure and responsibility. You will either have expertise advising on residential development matters, or alternatively, you may have experience working on large volume plots disposals.
Personality wise, the business is looking for a lawyer able to work at pace and balance transactional work with managing a team.

The opportunity is based in the West Midlands and offers working from home some of the week.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary is a banding depending on experience / PQE and there are other benefits including a generous car allowance, bonus, shares, private medical and more.
