Our client is a major UK energy business involved in large scale construction / infrastructure projects which are aimed at catapulting the nation towards net zero. The business is in a huge growth space, and they are seeking to add a lawyer with construction / infrastructure projects experience to take on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting into leading senior lawyers in the organisation, the role focuses mainly on B2B customer and supplier contracts, as well as the more specific construction / infrastructure contracts, all of which relate to improving energy usage for its customer base.
  • The role is appropriate for either a construction / projects lawyer, or a commercial lawyer with some experience and an interest in construction / infrastructure project contracts.
  • The role would suit a lawyer seeking a high degree of autonomy, but with the required support from the leading senior lawyers.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience in construction / projects law or commercial law with an interest in construction / infrastructure project contracts.

Location and Working Policy

  • The business are based in the West Midlands and operating a very flexible hybrid working policy, with 1-2 days per week required in the West Midlands office.
