BCIS is looking for a Construction Data Analyst (Quantity Surveyor) to help shape the data and insights that underpin decision‑making across the UK construction sector. Key responsibilities

  • Validate and analyse construction project cost data from a range of sources using in‑house systems

About you

  • Experience in construction cost benchmarking and data analysis
  • Knowledge of construction costs, quantity surveying and the built environment
  • Strong interest in data analytics, emerging technologies and AI in construction
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Ability to interpret and communicate data clearly
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (e.g. data science, economics, construction, mathematics, statistics)
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets
  • Understanding of economic indicators or index production
