Description: BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a dispatch on-site IT Support Specialist in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as needed.
- Provide timely updates on issue status and resolution.
- Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010.
- Support Cisco Jabber and have basic knowledge of Mac OS to assist Apple PC users.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network and hardware/software issues.
- Possess broad IT knowledge, including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
- Work effectively in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid work permit.
- Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
- Several years of professional experience in user support and solution design.
