This role is working at Bournemouth University with their students. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team supporting students who are experiencing, or approaching, a mental health crisis. This role focuses on delivering customer-led support using person-centred and psychologically informed approaches. You will provide information, advice and practical and emotional support, helping students navigate challenging periods and move towards greater independence and stability. Working within the BCHA Psychologically Informed Framework, you will contribute to a high-quality, safe and responsive service in line with our policies, procedures, values and strategic objectives.

You will ideally have experience in homelessness, supported housing, mental health or a similar environment. You will be empathetic, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure, with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Requirements- Prioritise the immediate needs of the customers

- Engage customers in their own support planning
- Liaise with external providers to access services that support customers
- Enable customers to access funds and specific support services
