You will oversee the smooth running of an established supported accommodation service in Plymouth. This service provides more than just housing – it’s a safe, supportive environment where residents can rebuild their lives. Your leadership will ensure that support is person‑centred, trauma‑informed, and delivered within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE). You will lead a dedicated team of Support Workers, embedding these principles into daily practice to help people facing homelessness, trauma and complex needs regain stability and independence. You will also work closely with the Senior Practitioner to ensure high‑quality, consistent service delivery.
In this role you will:
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers in delivering exceptional care and housing‑related support.
- Ensure the day‑to‑day operations of the service run smoothly and effectively.
- Embed trauma‑informed care and PIE principles across all aspects of service delivery.
- Work closely with the Senior Practitioner to maintain best practice standards.
- Collaborate with Local Authority Housing Teams, Social Services, Health and Mental Health Teams, Substance Misuse Services, Police and other key partners.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align service delivery with BCHA’s strategic goals for homelessness support.
