What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting people to attend appointments, manage their tenancy, or access vital services.
- Helping residents build confidence, routines, and independent living skills.
- Working one-to-one with those experiencing mental health challenges, trauma or substance misuse.
- Being a consistent, calm presence during difficult moments.
- Creating personalised support plans and helping people move forward at their own pace.
- Collaborating with external agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
You will be based across our supported houses (6–10 residents), providing outreach‑style support and building meaningful, trusting relationships. Travel between sites in Plymouth is required.
About The Role
We use trauma‑informed approaches and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) to understand behaviour, build trust and support long‑term change rather than just manage day‑to‑day issues. Some days will be challenging, but you will witness real progress and moments where people take a step forward because of your support.
