In this rewarding leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, customer‑led support. You will provide guidance, supervision and encouragement to ensure the team delivers effective, person‑centred and psychologically informed approaches that help adults experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness to achieve positive outcomes.

You will lead by example, fostering a supportive team culture where staff feel valued, developed and confident in their roles. Working closely with colleagues, customers and external partners, you will help ensure services are safe, effective and responsive to the individual needs, strengths and aspirations of each person we support.

Our approach is trauma‑informed and focused on building trusting relationships, empowering customers to manage risks, engage with recovery, develop independence and work towards a positive, sustainable future.

As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead, support and develop a team of Support Workers delivering high-quality homelessness accommodation services.
  • Work across two welcoming supported accommodation services in Bournemouth.
  • Provide effective supervision, guidance and coaching to help staff achieve their potential.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
  • Support the delivery of person‑centred, psychologically informed and trauma‑informed practice.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, helping them achieve their goals and improve their outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and partner organisations to ensure customers access the right support.
  • Receive comprehensive training in trauma‑informed practice, mental health awareness, substance misuse and homelessness accommodation services.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading teams, developing staff and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
