BCHA are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team working predominantly across Dorset. You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within the Housing sector.
As a multi-trade operative you will have a trades background, ideally with skills and experience in bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting, plastering, tiling and painting and be required to work across a mix of planned and reactive maintenance. There is a strong emphasis on customer service in these roles, as the customer is often present on site.
Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving licence that is acceptable to our insurers and have the ability to drive a company van. This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week. A van, smartphone, uniform and PPE will be provided.
Opportunities to work and be paid for additional hours as well as personalised training to extend your skills and competencies (in-house and external) is available. We are looking for people who genuinely care about people who experience homelessness and related health needs as well as people having to survive on lower incomes needing social and more affordable homes to live in.
