About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to work across our homes. As a Regional Senior Care Assistant, you’ll travel across a number of homes within our portfolio to support care teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll play a key role in supporting residents with their day-to-day needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times. We’ll rely on you to provide leadership on shift, support colleagues, and ensure care is delivered safely and in line with best practice. You’ll assist with care planning, support medication where trained, and help maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental health needs. This role offers the opportunity to work across different services, sharing best practice, supporting teams where needed, and helping to maintain consistently high standards of care.
About You: You should have experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home environment, with a strong understanding of person-centred care. What’s just as important is that you are:
- Confident supporting and guiding colleagues on shift
- Organised and able to adapt to different home environments
- A strong communicator with a positive, flexible approach
- Able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) is preferred. We believe in providing a great career pathway and are committed to supporting you on your journey. Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
