About the Role:

Make a rewarding difference in people's lives every day with BCG. As a Senior Carer at BCG, you’ll care for our residents like they’re your own family. It’s all about attending to their physical, psychological, and social needs to help us deliver the quality of care they deserve. You’ll deliver person-centred care to our residents to ensure they retain their dignity and individuality. Additionally, you’ll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working alongside the Nurse on duty.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Supporting the clinical team with medication administration, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
  • Supervising and mentoring other Carers.
  • Assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.

About You:

Cheerful, caring, and compassionate by nature, you’ll have good reading, writing, and communication skills and be flexible enough to work shifts. You’ll be passionate about care and making a difference in people’s lives. You will need to have an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Experience in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia is desirable. Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK. We no longer offer sponsorship.
