About the Role
Make a rewarding difference in people's lives every day with BCG. As a Deputy Manager at BCG, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day operations of the care home. You will lead our dedicated team with passion and commitment, fostering strong relationships with residents, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents in line with BCG's policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements. Your role will extend beyond meeting professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. You will provide support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the absence of the Home Manager, and supervise and coach colleagues to deliver Care That Makes The Difference to our residents.
About You
You will have an up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and strong leadership skills. You will also be passionate about care and making a difference in people's lives. You should have management or supervisory experience ideally within a care home environment. Additionally, you are compassionate, resilient, and determined to provide the high standard of care that our residents deserve. You will need to have an SVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia is desirable. Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is preferred but not essential. Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
