Description

The Regulatory Engagement and Reporting Manager is responsible for fostering positive relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations, and providing strategic guidance on regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, acting as a point of contact for regulatory enquiries.
  2. Engage with regulators to stay informed about changes in regulations, anticipate regulatory trends, and communicate potential impacts to the organisation.
  3. Provide advice on regulatory matters to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business units to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and its impact on business operations.
  5. Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports required by applicable laws and regulatory bodies.
  6. Support the completion of FCA/PRA/TPR regulatory returns and/or payment of regulatory levies, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  7. Ensure compliance with reporting standards and guidelines, identifying and mitigating reporting risks.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a regulatory role with a focus on engagement and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements applicable to the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
