What you’ll be doing: As the Head of Marketing Planning, Strategy & Operations, you will lead the day-to-day activity of the planning and strategy function within the Marketing Department, providing data, analysis, best practice, and support across the Commercial function and the wider organisation. You will manage and motivate the team to optimise its performance and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing investment in line with business strategy, departmental goals, internal policies, legislation, and regulation. Plays an active role in supporting the Director of Marketing to lead the department in accordance with company strategy, objectives, and business plan; acting as a conduit for upwards and sideways communications and feedback to and from the team. Collaborates with the Marketing Director on the development and execution of the organisation’s marketing strategy. Manages the performance and development of direct reports including identifying training and recommending ratings and salary reviews, whilst ensuring they deliver to expected levels. Works with the rest of the Marketing Department to ensure there are appropriate SLA’s, KPI’s and metrics for all marketing activity. Creates and delivers a rolling programme of test and learn and measures the effectiveness of all marketing activity identifying, recommending, and managing changes to achieve commercial targets. What we’re looking for: • Extensive track record in partnering the business to develop and deliver successful creative marketing strategies. • Experience of leading or being part of a Marketing function. • Proven ability to work independently and proactively engaging with teams via different channels including face to face. • Demonstrable recent experience of commissioning and managing effective B2B and B2C marketing content across digital and offline channels. • Digital and data native familiar with a wide range of information technologies.
