The VP Sales is responsible for all sales activities in the region, achievement of sales targets, the strategic sales plan, and budget for sales. This leader is responsible for identifying, hiring, mentoring, leading, and developing talent to staff the sales team for both short and long-term success. In addition to the achievement of the sales targets, the VP is responsible for assigning resources, or in some cases directly supporting, client retention and expansion efforts to optimize turnover and profitability.
As a Vice President, Regional Traditional Corporate Sales, you will:
- Ensure team members identify new business opportunities for assigned existing clients and work with respective Account Management on the acquisition of this new business.
- Be accountable for identifying and analyzing sales trends & patterns, potential customers, and leads.
- Determine pricing strategies and develop customer propositions.
- Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy.
- Guarantee team members oversee new business implementation and work closely together with the implementation teams.
- Manage the performance of direct reports and downline employees; guide and motivate the team.
About You:
- Business travel industry experience is required.
- You have extensive experience as a sales manager in the business travel industry with proven success.
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills in a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and presentation in English.
- Ability to interact with individuals and groups in a positive and collaborative manner.
