VIP Travel Consultant, Media & Entertainment (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about providing bespoke, white-glove service to high-profile clients? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy going the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience? BCD Media & Entertainment is looking for an exceptional VIP Travel Consultant, Media & Entertainment to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all travel needs, offering tailored, first-class support to our VIP clients. You’ll be calm, reassuring, and always ready to tackle any task with a positive, solutions-oriented approach. Your ability to think on your feet, make recommendations, and provide expert advice will be essential.
As a VIP Travel Consultant, Media & Entertainment, you will
- Accurately and efficiently handle incoming travel requests either by phone, BCD personal mobile, or e-mail, as you will be their emergency line if anything is needed when they are traveling
- Understand the needs of your clients’ travel policies and appropriately guide them to the best solutions
- Book meet and greet services, private charter flights, and any other concierge requests needed
- Offer a bespoke serviceto also book the travel requests for family
- Being aware of budgets and offer the best deals possible
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and fulfill the payment process on behalf of the client
- Keep up to date with the changing nature of travel resulting from the pandemic
- Work closely and monitor VIPs from start to finish of their trip and pre-empt all aspects of their travel itineraries
- Check flight schedules to make sure that there are no delays or disruptions and rearrange if disruptions happen
- Contact hotels before the VIP arrives to make sure everything is in place and all requests have been met
About you
- Entertainment or VIP travel industry knowledge is preferred
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, procedures, and processes
- Advanced skills in travel industry systems – Sabre and Amadeus preferred
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and able to adapt to change
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
- Proven excellent customer service provision and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to easily establish rapport, and develop lasting relationships with the booker and traveler
- You are proactive and able to provide effective travel solutions when needed
- You have knowledge of worldwide geography and keen attention to detail
