The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

This role will be predominantly focused on Technical Production, whether for stand-alone production projects, or as part of a larger project in which we are collaborating with other service lines from The Collective by BCD M&E. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects across a number of different formats including but not limited to: live, virtual and hybrid. Events will be delivered across all regions, while ranging in size, complexity and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Be a representative of the Technical Production department across projects and key client accounts.
  • Work in all phases of a project life cycle, from pitch to delivery.
  • Attend client briefings, project kick-off meetings, and project debriefs.
  • Overall responsibility for the technical production delivery on virtual, hybrid and in-person events ranging in size and budget.
  • Be confident and able to lead multiple projects at any one time, by prioritising your own and team workloads.
  • Maintain clear communications throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure outstanding customer service and adding value by making recommendations and providing solutions.
  • Develop a rapport with technical equipment, scenic and exhibition suppliers both in the UK and overseas to gain the best possible service and rates and manage any issues as required.
  • Collaborate on reviewing supplier contracts, ensuring you have challenged T’s & C’s and negotiated the best solutions and price.
  • Work with the Head of Technical Production on the technical and scenic sections of budgets, ensuring accuracy.
  • Work with the Head of Technical Production on final reconciliations, ensuring to deliver G.P targets as set by the leadership team.
  • Support to drive the profitability, growth and activity of client accounts.
  • Support in client pitches and presentations, offering technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate highest standards of integrity, sound judgement and excellent communication.
  • Be an excellent team player – establish and promote collaborative, positive and effective working relationships across teams.
  • Participate in a positive environment where team members feel valued and look forward to coming to work.
  • Develop a strong internal network and establish relationships within The Collective and the wider business.

Qualifications

  • Technical Production experience, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Experience of delivering live events, hybrid and broadcast events a bonus.
  • Working with different stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Flexible approach to work, effective time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Calm, confident and collaborative approach with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in event technology and innovation in the industry.

  • This is a hybrid based role in either the Derby, London or Milton Keynes office.
  • Our standard working hours are 9am – 5:30pm with an hour break.
