As a Client Development Director, you will:

  • Be responsible for managing the relationship with a number of existing accounts and ensure that they maintain, renew and grow their business.
  • Develop and own a client-centric growth strategy for Key Growth Account(s), translating revenue goals into actionable plans.
  • Have experience, energy and confidence to undertake proactive sales outreach, including but not limited to social selling and outbound activity campaigning, if needed.
  • Be the clients advocate and guide, mentor & support internal teams to ensure that client service expectations are met and adhered to.
  • Have experience of contribution to contract management, negotiation and procurement.
  • Be responsible for driving the strategy for the development of proposals, presentations, contracts and other sale/marketing-related collateral materials for current and prospective accounts.
  • Know what makes a great event and have a grasp over where the industry is going, in order to advise the clients and be the consultation point of knowledge for the client.
  • Cultivating and expanding client relationships to boost account growth.
  • Crafting client-centric strategies that translate financial goals into actionable plans.
  • Proactively reaching out for new business opportunities through engaging sales campaigns.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams to create innovative event experiences.
  • Navigating contract management and negotiations with confidence and expertise.
  • Confidently and credibly speaking to clients and advising/consulting.

You also have:

  • Understanding production and delivery of large-scale events.
  • Experience in mapping client opportunities to strategise for optimal growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Event agency experience, especially good to have conference and B2B know-how.

  • This is a hybrid role based in the Milton Keynes office or a UK Remote based role.
  • Attending supplier networking events and client evening entertaining required.
  • Our standard working hours are 9:00am-5:30pm with an hour break.
