About the role: We are looking for a Meeting Planner to join one of our global client dedicated teams - Apple! You will be an integral member of this global client dedicated team, who are passionate about events no matter the format - virtual, hybrid or in person. You strive to exceed customer expectations and are not afraid to question and bring new ideas and energies to the table. You will be responsible for the execution of end-to-end meetings and events to include creative concept proposals, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, planning, attendee management, onsite execution, and reconciliation. These meetings and events are complex in nature and require high touch and outstanding customer service. You thrive on juggling multiple projects, meeting and exceeding deadlines, good budget management and enjoy attending onsite to ensure it meets all delivery expectations.

As a Meeting Planner, you will:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for your client, and ensure all milestones are clearly communicated and met.
  • Be consultative in your approach.
  • Ensure the attendee journey is seamless, compliant, and successful.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and mitigate financial risk.
  • Facilitate the creative direction and overall development timeline of program websites, proofread, present and gain client approval.
  • Negotiate and purchase ancillary contracts such as ground transportation, entertainment, and décor elements via preferred supplier partners.
  • Monitor supplier service levels.
  • Address and resolve service issues directly with supplier in a professional manner.
  • Devise on-site program operations staff recommendations based on specific role and responsibility, scope of program and continuity with respective Client.
  • Manage all reporting documentation required within the appropriate meeting technology platform.

You’re good at:

  • End to end event delivery and event registration expertise in the UK and Overseas.
  • Leading a project with your stakeholders.
  • Communicating with a calm, positive and collaborative approach.
  • Problem-solving, thinking with an analytical mindset and have the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work, able to juggle multiple priorities and projects with resilience under pressure along with the ability to adapt to change.

You should know:

  • This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the Apple office – Battersea, London.
  • Our standard working hours are 9.00 - 17.30 with an hour break.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas.
