This entry level position is responsible for completing all incoming tasks as assigned. The Consultant will be trained to work in multiple GDSs and processes requests based on industry, client and BCD Travel rules and procedures.

As an Apprentice Business Travel Agent, you will:

  • Assist the CTSS team to accurately and completely process online and traditional ticketing/fulfillment requests, back office error corrections, and non-refundable tracking.
  • Identify and learn how to use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests.
  • Learn and enhance knowledge of the various travel industries supported (air, car, hotel, etc.).
  • Complete assigned tasks with a minimum of errors.
  • Successfully complete designated training and development opportunities.

About you:

  • GCSE Maths and English grades 4 or above (C or above) is preferred, but not essential.
  • Work experience in a Customer service environment working as part of a Team is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understand the online booking process and have a good knowledge of the Internet.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
