Enable Impact at the Heart of Technology Development!

AI strategies only matter when they become working solutions. As an AI Solutions Engineer / Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building and scaling the technical foundation that powers AI across BCD. Working within the AI Centre of Excellence, you will create reusable capabilities that support use cases across operations, client service, sales, finance and technology. You will help transform ideas into production-ready AI solutions used by teams around the world.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on technical role focused on building.

  • Design and build reusable AI/agentic capabilities (e.g., MCP-based integrations, retrieval pipelines, prompt and agent libraries) on top of BCD's data and platform layer.
  • Partner directly with embedded AI champions to scope, prototype, and productionize use cases specific to their function (booking, client service, sales enablement, finance ops).
  • Own model evaluation, selection and optimization frameworks: benchmark providers/models against cost, accuracy, and latency requirements for travel-specific workflows.
  • Build and maintain the evaluation/testing framework so every deployed AI workflow has measurable accuracy and safety checks before go-live.
  • Implement responsible-AI guardrails (data handling, hallucination controls, human-in-the-loop checkpoints) in collaboration with risk/compliance.
  • Ensure AI is engineered for scale, security and value across product, data, and support investments empowering delivery teams to accelerate transformation.
  • Document technical standards and patterns so spokes can self-serve on the platform rather than requesting bespoke builds.
  • Contribute to internal training content and office hours for embedded champions and business-unit staff.

You will operate at the intersection of architecture, engineering and AI innovation.

A Truly Global and Flexible Role

You'll collaborate with stakeholders worldwide while building AI solutions that support business functions across BCD. The role is remote by design and offers access to diverse, complex, enterprise-scale challenges.

A Strategic Success Role

Success Means:

  • Production-grade AI solutions deployed and adopted.
  • Platform reliability and performance.
  • Reuse of shared AI capabilities.
  • Reduction of fragmented AI tooling.
  • Improved accuracy, quality and governance of AI-powered workflows.
  • Number of production-grade AI workflows shipped and adopted by spokes per quarter.
  • Platform reliability/accuracy against defined evaluation benchmarks.
  • Reduction in “shadow AI” / duplicate tooling across business units due to platform reuse.

Who You Are

You Bring:

  • 4+ years in ML/AI engineering, solutions architecture, or applied data science, ideally with production LLM or agentic-AI systems.
  • Founder or early-stage startup experience required — hands-on experience building or shipping products in a resource-constrained startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation, prompt/agent frameworks, and integration protocols (e.g., MCP, API-based tool use).
  • Experience building for enterprise data environments with strict privacy/compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working directly with non-technical business stakeholders to translate operational pain points into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLM output quality, safety, and drift monitoring.
  • Travel, hospitality, or B2B services industry experience is required.
  • You enjoy building, experimenting and delivering solutions that create measurable impact.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to build enterprise-scale AI products.
  • Freedom to innovate and experiment.
  • Access to cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Direct collaboration with business leaders.
  • Global remote flexibility.
  • Meaningful ownership and impact.
  • A culture that values innovation, ownership and experimentation.
